October 11, 2023

Silver Golub & Teitell has hired two former judicial law clerks as associates in the firm’s Stamford office. Sydney Geer, a former clerk on the Connecticut Appellate Court, joins the Medical Malpractice and Serious Personal Injury practice groups. Kate Sayed, a former clerk on the Nebraska Supreme Court, joins the Class Actions and Complex Civil Litigation practice groups.

“We are delighted to welcome Sydney and Kate as associates at Silver Golub & Teitell. Their experience and passion for justice further strengthens our team as we fight to recover compensation for our clients,” said partner Peter Dreyer.

Ms. Geer recently completed her clerkship with Judge Eliot D. Prescott of the Connecticut Appellate Court. She previously completed an internship at Connecticut’s Office of the Chief States Attorney, during which she argued a successful appeal on behalf of the state before the Appellate Court. Raised in Connecticut, Ms. Geer earned her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and is a graduate of Clark University.

Ms. Sayed recently completed her clerkship with Justice Jeffrey J. Funke of the Nebraska Supreme Court. She obtained her law degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law, where she was elected to the Nebraska Law Review board and served as an Executive Editor. While at law school, she worked as a summer associate for a prominent Nebraska law firm, working in a variety of commercial litigation and transactional matters.
