Steven Bloch Named Law360 Legal Lion After TikTok Children's Privacy Ruling

Law360 named Silver Golub & Teitell (SGT) partner Steven Bloch a Legal Lion of the Week after U.S. District Judge George H. Wu of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California refused TikTok's bid to dismiss claims in a proposed class action alleging that the platform exploits the private information of children under 13.

SGT serves as the court-appointed sole Executive Committee member in the multidistrict litigation (MDL), In re TikTok, Inc., Minor Privacy Litigation. SGT filed the first private action in the country over TikTok's conduct, which led to the MDL. On September 24, Hon. Wu denied TikTok's motion to dismiss claims from the second amended consolidated class complaint. Law360 also recognized co-counsel Keller Rohrback and Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll.
