Silver Golub & Teitell Promotes Nicole Coates and Sarah Russell to its Partnership

Silver Golub & Teitell has elected Nicole B. Coates and Sarah Ricciardi Russell to its partnership, effective January 1, 2024. Ms. Coates and Ms. Russell are both members of the Medical Malpractice and Serious Personal Injury groups and are based in the Stamford office. 

“Nicole and Sarah draw on their wide experience and have demonstrated a deep commitment to obtaining justice for our clients,” said partner Peter M. Dreyer. “We are delighted to welcome them to the partnership,” he said. 

Ms. Coates represents individuals and their families in medical malpractice and complex personal injury cases. Ms. Coates also represents victims of serious crimes, including survivors of sexual abuse and assault. Before practicing law, she studied genetic sciences and interned at the Connecticut Department of Public Health, experiences that inform her work for clients. She currently serves as the Co-Chair for the Young Lawyers Council of the National Crime Victims Bar Association and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Fairfield County Bar Association. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she was a member of the Connecticut Law Review. 

Ms. Russell represents people who have been harmed by medical malpractice, product defects, physical and sexual assaults, and motor vehicle collisions. With a background in film and television, Ms. Russell has a unique understanding of the importance of persuasive storytelling in the representation of injured individuals and their families. In addition to her work for individual clients, Sarah also promotes the interests of plaintiffs by submitting amicus briefs on behalf of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. Before joining the firm, she clerked for the Hon. Alfred V. Covello in the U.S. District Court in Hartford, Connecticut. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law.
