Silver Golub & Teitell to Co-Lead DCG Cryptocurrency Class Action

Law360 reported on Silver Golub & Teitell's appointment as co-lead counsel for a proposed class of cryptocurrency lenders who claim that Digital Currency Group Inc. and its top executive hid the company's looming financial collapse.

U.S. District Judge Stefan R. Underhill found that joint leadership of the case by SGT and co-counsel Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer would best serve the plaintiffs, who claim they lost more than $17 million when DCG and its top executive, Barry Silbert, concealed the consequences of a bad loan, in violation of securities laws, the publication reported.

Partners Ian W. Sloss and Steven L. Bloch represented the plaintiffs.
