Nicole B. Coates

Ms. Coates takes great satisfaction in representing the seriously injured, their families and other people who have suffered through no fault of their own. Ms. Coates’ practice is focused mainly in the areas of medical malpractice, negligence, tort and personal injury law. In additional to catastrophic personal injury, Mr. Coates’ practice includes representing the victims of crimes, including those who are recent victims of child sexual abuse and adult survivors of sexual assault.

Ms. Coates is humbled to be able to represent individuals who often come to her at one of the most difficult times in their lives. She is devoted to helping her clients obtain justice and secure full and fair compensation for the harm they have suffered. As an understanding attorney for her clients, Ms. Coates’ commitment to help people shines through her dedicated work.

Consistent with her goals of obtaining justice for her clients and making a positive impact in the community, Ms. Coates is a member of the American Association for Justice, The National Crime Victim Bar Association, where she has been appointed to serve as the 2023 Co-Chair for the Young Lawyers' Council, and the Connecticut Bar Association and the Fairfield County Bar Association, where she has been appointed to the Board of Directors.

Since 2018, Ms. Coates has been recognized for her exceptional litigation work as a Connecticut Super Lawyers* “Rising Star.“
