Richard Silver: CTLA Continues To Fight Against Forces That Curtail Our Clients' Rights

June 18, 2015

During my presidency, a major legislative medical malpractice battle occurred, fomented by physicians and the medical malpractice insurance companies.  There was an attempt to institute legislation which would take away the rights of our clients.  I spent almost every day of the legislative session coordinating with Jay Malcynsky and his team.  Fortunately, we were able to demonstrate that the "solutions" offered that were adverse to the rights of our clients were in fact not effective, nor had any credibility.

Over the years, during their presidency, the Presidents of CLTA have been devoted almost full-time to fighting against the forces that would curtail our clients' rights in workman's compensation, personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
