Attorney Bios
Marilyn Ramos joined Silver Golub & Teitell in 1992, and became a partner of the firm in 2002. She has extensive experience litigating personal injury and wrongful death claims, including those arising from motor vehicle collisions, construction site accidents, defective products, and psychiatric malpractice, and represents clients with serious and disabling injuries. Prior to her association with Silver Golub & Teitell, Marilyn was an attorney with Cooper, Erving, Savage, Nolan & Heller in Albany, New York, in its commercial litigation department, and worked as a staff attorney for the State of Connecticut Judicial Department. She received her law degree from Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York, where she was case note editor of the Pace Law Review, graduating magna cum laude in 1989. She received her B.A. and M.A. degrees in Spanish literature from the University of Connecticut. Though born and raised in Connecticut, she has lived for extensive periods of time in Spain and is fluent in Spanish. She is licensed to practice law in Connecticut and New York, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, and the Northern District of New York. She is a member of the America Association for Justice, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and the Connecticut and Regional Bar Associations.
