Lawsuit Claims Maren Sanchez Warned School That Plaskon Was Dangerous

MILFORD – Slain Jonathan Law High School student Maren Sanchez warned a school official that fellow student Christopher Plaskon was potentially a danger to himself and others months before she was stabbed to death by him in a hallway of her school two years ago, according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday in Superior Court.

The lawsuit, filed by Donna Cimarelli-Sanchez, administrator of her daughter's estate, alleges that Sanchez told officials in the high school guidance department that Plaskon was emotionally disturbed before the April 25, 2014, fatal stabbing. It accuses the school of not doing enough to keep Sanchez safe and Plaskon's parents of failing to get their son the help he needed.
